Each of these owners takes on a specific role within the company adding to the value of a target niche for each responsibility to our customers.
Gary, an Arizona native, founded Damage Control in 2002 and is the Chief Financial Officer for DC. Prior to being a partner in Damage Control, Gary was an owner of Riggs Plumbing, a well-respected regional plumbing company in the Southwest. With his wife, Alma he has 4 children and a beautiful collection of 12 grandkids! Gary has a love for adventure, traveling, family gatherings and enjoys surfing in Newport whenever he gets an opportunity.
Tyson manages the remediation and abatement division of DC. He is IICRC certified in mold assessment, remediation along with the American Indoor Air Quality Association. Tyson is a BYU Alumni, fluent in Spanish and an Arizona native. He has 4 beautiful children alongside his wife., Kara. You can catch Tyson on the golf course, the football field coaching his sons’ team, spending some time on the water or taking the family to Park City, Utah to escape the heat.
Griffin is the Chief Financial Officer for DC Restoration. Griffin, an ASU Alumni, lives in Mesa with his wife, Courtney and 6 amazing children. Griffin’s background in finance provides a solid balance to the operations a general contractor needs. Griffin spends time on the baseball & football field coaching his boys or cheering on his children during their swim meets. When it’s time to break away, you can usually find Griffin playing sports or in Newport Beach enjoying some family downtime oceanside.
Derec has been a partner in DC Restoration since the very beginning. Derec brings a plethora of construction knowledge and has been in the restoration business for 20 years. Derec’s knowledge of the industry is unmatched, and he will put your mind at ease with any restoration questions and or concerns. Derec and his wife Luanne, have 5 children and just welcomed their 3rd grandson. When off the clock, likely you will find him casting fishing lines or volunteering his time working with multiple youth programs and also speaks Spanish fluently.
As a member of the DC Restoration team, Brandon takes on the role as our Production Manager. By overseeing all repairs in our network as well as run high profile large loss claims, he knows all aspects of our current workflow. Brandon’s extensive knowledge in the construction industry has proven strong communication and production efficiency. Along with his wife Shanna, they have 5 beautiful children. Brandon loves spending time with his family and takes time to putting his hunting skills to the test.
Jon is a member of the Damage Control team and manages the fire/contents division of DC. He understand the service level needs and the details oriented to care for a property that has suffered from fire or needs content manipulation to complete a restoration repair.
Jon’s commitment level will exceed your expectations during an often chaotic time. Jon and his wife Krista share 3 children together and enjoy spending traveling to Utah as well as time at the beach whenever possible.
